Day 4 : 8 Jan 2014 : Dhrangadra to Viramgam: 67 kms

We covered the distance today much faster than before. We decided to leave early so we started cycling at 6am. By 1 pm we were 3 kms from our destination and were received by 18 girls from KB Shah School in Virambam. The girls cycled with us till the place where our accommodations were organised.

After a quick lunch (North-Indian after many days of sweet Gujrati food) and a quick bath, we left for the school which was 4 kms away from the highway. While going we went in an auto but on the way back we went in a local vehicle (like a rickshaw) called Chakda (also called Jugad in a few places). This vehicle is made up of waste material. The front looks like a Bullet but the back is like a small tempo and all of them are colourfully painted.

The children in the school were so excited to see and meet all of us. The school had organised for us to speak with all the girls. After the talk, they all shook our hands and wished us good luck. They were just so excited to meet us.

Once we got back, it was a quiet dinner and sleep. Had to wake up early again.
